Bad Panoz Roadster experience this afternoon....

So, I'm at work today, and decide to run over to Wal-Mart to pick up some prints that I shot last night. Anyway...I look outside to see what has a dealer plate on it. Lo and behold....the yellow Panoz is plated up. So, I grab the keys and head out. The skies were a bit cloudy, but it didn't look like a big deal.

Get to Wal-Mart.....pick up prints.....get back outside, and the friggin winds are howling! I jump in the car and take off.......right into a microburst! Ok, Panoz roadster.....no quck folding top....and besides, I left the top back at the dealership anyway. Not that it would have mattered, since the 70-80mph winds would have ripped it out of my hands anyway.

Holy crap, what an ordeal....I looked like a drowned rat when I got back. And no, there are NO pics!

......I sure got my share of strange looks on the way back......dammit

Yikes. Oh did the nexis deal work? Never tried that before.

It's automated in the system, but you don't get a confirm.

LOL.....when I was about 30 seconds away, I called her.....

To tell her to have someone open up the outside doors.....in a hurry, 'cause I wasn't slowing down when I got there. I think I drove into the building at about 20-25mph....LOL.
