Any opt for the Nav Sys? Is it worth it?
Hello All,
I'm going to be aquiring a 225TTC in about 1 months time. I was trying to find some info about the Audi Nav system, but it seems to be scarce.
If anyone here has it on their TT, is it worth it? I am currently thinking that I will pass on the option, but I want to hear what you guys think.

I have it because it was specced on the car when I bought it....
Personally, I find it a waste of time and money.
However, most of the people who'vbe posted here that have it really like it.
Not sure that that helps.

Not everyone has a legit need for it. Personally, I love mine...
For Chris (below), the nav probably isn't an item he wanted or needed. For me, its a whole other story. I'm a consultant, and regularly visit clients at their places of business around the Bay Area. Given the sheer size of this area, there is no way I could know every twist and turn of the place, my sense of direction stinks, I don't like to try and read maps while driving, and I'm often pressed for time. The nav has given me major piece of mind when I have to go someplace new-- I always show up on-time and relaxed, which is very worthwhile in a business situation. Or, in any situation, really. Its also great for finding things like the nearest freeway entrance when in a strange neighborhood.
There are better systems out there, and Audi Nav isn't perfect. But it is cleanly integrated into the car, and for my needs is 110% worth the cost.
