Fun drive last weekend....
So this past weekend my wife and I went out for our
usual drive in the TTR. We usually try to find a nice
twisty road from the valley out to the coast (Hwy 35 or
9 or somesuch).
Anyway this time we ended up near Half Moon bay and
decided on a lark to visit the new Ritz Carlton they've
built there and maybe have brunch.
We show up and it turns out they only have valet parking.
No big deal, I think, though I've never had the TT valet
parked before.
This guy comes up takes our keys, and as I reach
for a ticket, he says "no need sir, we'll just put your
car out front". So while we were eating, they had the
TTR (top down of course) on display right in the front entrance
(instead of packed with the many other cars in a lot across the way).
When we came out, it was moved, but only to a more
prominent place in the front.
Yet another reason for having the best looking car around
Oh, and brunch was great, but pricey.
