So I leave Mpls for something like 26 hrs, park at the airport, way back, cover the TTR...
and some ^&^#$%&* steals 2 of my "TT" stem caps anyway!
Yea, I know, don't park yer car at the airport. It was a quick trip, at I was in a open are to park, and I thought I'd be OK, It cost $18, vs. the $80+ for a 2-way cab ride, and I was fotting the bill, so....

Off to the dealer tomorrow for a replacement set

I didn't do all you did, but it's been hot here lately, and on my return trip from the airport...
I tried a few variations.
I *did not * use the 'recic' button, but I still believe that my way is the best, that is, defeat the 'top' switch to make the fan go faster.
This is the only way I got it to work effectively.

haven't had too much chance to try either ...
but I still think just turning the fan speed up manually does the trick.
on the other hand, yesterday was 90F and I left the a/c off entirely, it was so nice to have some real warm weather for a change, after spending multiple days on the Maine coast mired in the cool fog. will do more research tomorrow :-)
