Question re: LLTEK air intake installation....

Just installed the air intake but having problems with parts fitting correctly. The cone filter and the air inlet tube from the car does not fit properly. It's kinda loose and has a gap on the bottom side of the tube and filter. Is that normal or am I not trying hard enough? Is it suppose to fit "snuggly" together? Can someone help me out...thanks so much in advance.

I had some problems with this too......

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/13940/lltekintake1.jpg"></center><p>It takes quite a bit of force to get the snorkel (inlet tube) into the filter end. Push it in (about 1 inch) until the ridge hits the filter cap. Once in, it will stay provided the filter maintains some pressure on it toward the fender wall. The snorkel itself is bolted on with a bushed grommet, is not securely mounted and will wiggle about. Check out the pic and let me know if there are any questions. Mine went together loose the first time too.....

Called LLTEK.......

and they told me it is suppose to fit tightly,,just need a little playing around and adjusting. I'm not too convince because I've been playing around with it for 3 stinking hours.

Force fit it in . ..

It takes a little biut of work, but it will pop in. I did two installs already and they will pop in place. Once in it does not pop out after it is installed in the car.
