They actually fixed* the Morse Code syndrome AND the random interior light/lock problem.
*Admittedly I have to go back next week when the parts come in but they verified Doug's TSB as the correct procedure (thanks again, Dougy me boy!) and ordered the part for it as well as the overhead interior light. Apparently it contains the software module that solves the frustrating light/lock problem.
do you have access to a vag tool??? do me a favor. check the software level on it (just enter address 35 (central locking/alarm) and post the infos (it will have the part #, workshop code and software level on it). i bet that the level is FAR below D014 (...and thats the one you need!)
