...stop here and no further marker when they backed out of a parking slot. Just a small (3/4") cut in the paint and a smaller one (1/4") beside it, but still my car's first boo boo. Oh well, off to the Langka site. If June goes out like a lamb like this with my car, I'll be happy.
On a brighter note, the aluminum piston upgrade for the Forge is excellent. The turbulance noise at full throttle is all but gone. Very smooth. Me like!

Not entirely certain about the deal to be honest. He just sent it to me and I didn't really ask..
...about payment one way or the other. I'd say give him a call and talk to him about it. They're really very reasonable. If you have to pay, I think it's a relatively small charge and well worth it. BTW, if it's sticking, I think you can just open it up and service it with some brown grease and close it back up. My nylon piston was in fine shape.

It didn't happen in a parallel parking situation, though. It happened in a parking garage.
I'm just lucky it wasn't a Ford Leviathan. It would have taken out the entire hood and probably the windshield.

I didn't expect you to parallel park it either. Do you look for the 'special' spots in the garage..
where the architect skrewed up with the space because he/she forgot to take into consideration the incline. The end spots in the garage I park at during school are massivly wide and impossible for anybody to back into because their on an end.
