That ineresting looking symbol: pitcher dripping oil!

This pretty symbol (and beep) appears occasionally after driving at hyway speeds and coming to a stop. Oil level is ok, and warning does not stay on, so I am not yet ready to panic. Or should I? Anyone else see this? Have 14k miles on this wonderful machine.

I believe that the indicator is for low oil PRESSURE and not necessarily level. Definitely...

have it checked by your dealer. I hope it is just a faulty pressure-sending-unit.

yep.... this means u have either a bad sensor... or no oil pressure.. if its

no oil pressure and you keep on driving it.... get ready for the "big bang"

hahaha i lost oil pressure in a Nissan once at over 100mph... it was a big bang

)

.....oil pressure switch...

faulty, don't panic - the pressure is still okay(...but it would help to pray :-)

see your dealer, you can wait for it. not a big bang!

I had a bad TSU (Temperature Sending Unit) that was causing that and the temp to 0 when stopping
