(O/T) Just got in a brand new Land Rover Defender 110.
For those who know LR's, you know that the only years that the Defender was imported was '94, '95 and '97.
There is a company here in Utah that is bringing these trucks over in parts and then reconstructing them and are titled as "special manufacture" or something along those lines.
This truck is waaaayyyy cool and comes with a chipped 5 cylinder turbo diesel.

Goddamn that thing's ugly. Look at the sheetmetal. I guess those guys
have been able to duplicate the car right down to that legendary Rover fit and finish! The Germans and Japanese must be besides themselves thinking "Damn, Gunter (or Tanaka), how are we ever going to match those 3 cm body panel gaps?" :-)
Pray, tell me, what to they charge for that shining example of 1940's technology and manufacturing standards? Let me guess, it's gotta be at least 45-50K, right?
