Is this normal?
I was taking a long roadtrip last weekend. After I had driven for 3 hours, the computer thing that tells you how many miles to empty started flashing "3:00 hours." Then after 4 hours, it switched to "4:00 hours." Is this normal? I found the constant flashing kind of annoying.

that's your rest-o-meter (more)
the car tells you to take a break after 2 hours, and then every hour after that until you shut the car off. Gets kind of annoying on long road trips, but on the other hand, not a bad idea.

Easy to reset..
Just hold in the bottom botton on the arm. It will reset the time. It's there as a convenience. I dont remember, but you may be able to change the interval. It's described in the manual.
