Who else refuses to drive their Roadster with the top up?
Am I the only person paranoid about the weather updates to determine which car to take. I once pulled out the TTR to go out, drove down the street, felt a sprinkle of rain, and drove right back into the garage to switch cars.
At work, I never park the TTR with the top up and my coworkers are always coming by and saying it looks like it might rain.
Heck, what's the point of having a convertible if you keep the top up all the time.

HEADLINE: New driving experience in an Audi TT Roadster
BODY:
To travel in an open-top Audi TT Roadster is to experience driving in its most original form. Its no-compromise design, its powerful presence and its inner values
guarantee enthusiasm among all those whose passion for driving a sports car is allied to the feeling that there should be no fixed roof over one's head when doing
so.
The TT Roadster Quattro is the only sports car which has a permanent all-wheel drive for unmatched road traction and grip critical during sharp cornering and
sudden maneuvers. A feature unique to Audi, the quattro system makes the driver more confident and secure in experiencing the true power and dynamism of a
sports car.
Large disc brakes and the anti-lock braking system ensure outstanding declaration values. Ventilated disc brakes are used at the front and rear.
Additional reserves of driving safety and dynamics are built into the updated sports suspension with its wide track.
The front axle uses the tried-and-tested McPherson strut principle. The rear axle on the Quattro version has a trailing arm and two wishbones at each side, with
separate springs and shock absorbers. Models with front-wheel drive have compact torsion-crank rear suspension with precisely tuned elasto-kinematics for
accurate wheel location.
The turbocharged inline four-cylinder engines with a displacement of 1.8 liters and five valves per cylinder (20 valves) have been made even more efficient for the
TT Roadster. An optimized hot-film air-mass meter, injection valves and improved catalytic converter technology help to reduce emissions.
The sensing or calculation of the exhaust-gas temperature makes it possible to meter the fuel supply even more efficiently.
This reduces fuel consumption on a daily basis, yet does not affect the car's outstanding performance data 225 bhp with maximum boost pressure of 1.8 bar
absolute. Acceleration from zero to 100 kph is at an amazing 6.9 seconds and a top speed of 243 kph.
Audi has taken account of the wishes of numerous convertible enthusiasts who particularly enjoy driving an open-top vehicle in a relaxed style: cruising along
smoothly rather than changing gear hectically with a lot of fancy footwork. Especially as the firm, sporty suspension satisfies the driver's every wish as far as
dynamism is concerned. And not forgetting the engine's flat torque curve (210 Nm from 1750 to 4600) rpm: this provides the basis for ample pulling power and
thus the driving style preferred by many Roadster drivers.
In the cockpit area, careful attention has been paid to every detail, as in the TT Coupe: for example, the sports steering wheel and the dashboard instruments are
emphasized with matt polished aluminum, the pedals and the support for the left foot have stainless steel applications.
In addition to this, there are various features designed for extra comfort and convenience inside the TT Roadster: for example, high-grade upholstery for the sports
seats and central locking with remote control. As an option, the impressive interior equipment can be ordered in "Baseball Glover" leather as part of the authentic
leather package with mocassin seams.
A TT Roadster is predominantly driven with the top down. The soft top with its large heated glass window can be opened in a single-stage process and stowed
behind the seats. An electric soft top is also standard in the Philippines. A tonneau cover made of multi-layer synthetic material can be quickly and easily attached
to conceal the soft top when open. Irritating turbulence can be reduced by an electrically retractable glass windbreak shaped to follow the outline of the rollover
bars, which is standard locally.
Now you can be among the very first owners of the TT Roadster Quattro now available through Auto Prominence Corp., the exclusive distributor of Audi cars in
the Philippines.
