Recommendations on EBC Pad Squeal?

Had the EBC pads sitting around here for 2-3 months and finally had my dealer install them. Now the brakes squeal -- well, actually just the left front brake squeals. Any suggestions?

Turn up the radio? Honestly, did they "feather" the pad edges?

Chamfer and glue.

Did they chamfer (45 degress, not beveled, beveled is an angle < or > 45) the leading edges?
Did they use an 'anti-squeal' glue compound to glue *both* inside and outside pads to the calipers?

If yes, they didn't let the glue set.

If no to either, they need to do both processes.
I've had mine on for 17K miles, and they only squealed once in winter, when one side's glue worked loose.

I don't want to start the whole Mintex vs. EBC battle but,....

I decided to put Mintex on my A4 about two years ago, because I heard so many sqeaking issues on the A4 forum. My stock A4 pads used to sqeak like a mother. I put the Mintex on, and never heard another peep out of them. I decided to put the Mintex on my TT within the first week of ownership and again, never heard a peep. I didn't file them down, didn't use any glue (on either car) and they have been great.

Seems like most TT owners have jumped on the EBC bandwagon, and from what I've seen from being on these forums for about 3+ years, the A4 and S4 owners prefer the Mintex. Kind of strange. I always get jumped all over by the TT people everytime I talk about Mintex.

Good luck with the EBC's. I hope they work out.
