Usual bloody auction problems
Went to the site, clicked on a couple of bids and "surpirse surprise" every time my bid was beaten by someone else.
My simple question is, if there is someone there with a higher big (let's say $30) then why doesn't it say that.
This is why I never by anything from auction

If you bid the maximum you are willing to pay, ebay only ups the bid to the price needed to win. So
as someone places higher bids, your previous bid will go up sufficiently to keep winning until it reaches its maximum bid. In a case of a tie, earlier bid wins, so my theory is bid what you're really willing to bid at the start.
