Can someone help me out with the Bently instructions on how to..
Thanks,
b) Step one is to remove the 6 bolts. It is not necessary to completely remove the cover under the hatch to remove the bolts. However, you must loosen the cover to gain access to these bolts. Once the bolts are removed, the mini spoiler will still be held in place by the glue. It is necessary to break this bond between the actual spoiler and the trunk deck.
c) Using a very thin and sharp knife or razor blade, slip the edge under the spoiler and cut the glue bond. This process will take about 20 minutes as you must be slow and careful so as to minimize scratching the deck surface.
d) Once the bond has been broken, you can lift the Audi spoiler off the car. You will be left with some residue glue that must be cleaned off.
e) To clear the glue, we recommend the following steps:
1) Using a razor blade, remove as much of the glue residue by sticking the blade under the glue and by lifting and peeling the glue back while applying pressure with the razor blade, and by moving it back and forth slightly. Be careful not to scratch the paint.
2) Remove any remaining residue with thinner, being very careful to not damage the paint. Clean only a small area at a time.
3) Compound and wax the area.
It will take about 30 minutes of work but the glue will come off. Needless to say you will now have six holes that must be covered.
