Very on Topic.... (bit of a rant)
Found out today that a 2001 TTR (mine) black book value is worth 48K. So in 6 months the car has depreciated 17k!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!
A friend of mine is a Sales manager at the local Ford dealer and showed me the 2001 july 1 book.

Sounds like it has appreciated a few K unless you paid 65 kbucks for yours!
BTW, the black book (which those A holes like to take out) simply reflects prices paid at auction for cars, which is well below retail. Ask them to get out the black book some time when you are looking at a used car on their lot - they suddenly will not be able to find it.
