advice in dealing with the dealer
i love my tt, but it has some problems. mainly i am unhappy with rattles.. there are about 3 or so, 2 of which i have had them look at 3 times already. then there is the leaky window (i have a roadster)... they looked at this 3 times also.
so i am not sure how to approach this. i don't want to come on too strong, because i feel like the service guy is really trying to help.
but it seems everytime i bring it in, things don't get fixed and something bad happens to the car; the insterior has been dotted with oil, the outside has been scratched (which they fixed, sort of)... i am not sure that any other dealer would be better and i have invested so much in this one already...
any thoughts?

Would you accept this if you were dealing with a (fill in the blank)? Probably not. Understand the desire to stay somewhere where you've networked and feel a bit secure, but if you're getting that kind of treatment, you're backing up. Good luck!
They DID fix all the squeaks - 2 door, 1 rear.
The doors were re-aligned and the post lubed.
Tbe rear squeak ended up being (I still don't belive it, but it IS gone) the trunklid weatherstrip. They lubed it up - gone.
Now have to deal with a new cluster, light/lock module, and wiper arm.
July 9. Hold my breath
How can you deal with them? I have tried: asking nicly, calling AOA, sending email to dealer, and direct confrontation. Nothing seems to bother them. Service really hasn't improved. I don't believe these people have a soul.
Main reason I sill go there, is for the post-service survey (get them frequently). I have a good time with them on that. I don't know if I throw off their average. But they have NOT earned high marks (4 or 5)
