Friday's the day - gonna put a 33" X 18" hole in my roof at 8 am.

After 19 months of driving around wishing (where is Danielle?) for a sunroof, it will be done on Friday. I've located a shop that will do it for $595 (tax included). The installer has 22 years of experience!

Am I worried? Yes.

As my father said, "A perfectly good roof, why cut a hole in it?"

Both the installer and myself will be taking pictures and they will be posted here on Friday evening.

Good luck, I'm sure it will be great. You have the extra advantage of having

a black car....so, that strip they put around it will blend in with your roof. Think BB is the best color for a sun roof.

Agree Denny...

That was part of my decision process. Of course, once I decided I wanted it, it was a done deal... I just needed some additional rationalization points :-)

Seriously, I called today and they were able to slip me in for Friday. Apparently there is a libray within walking distance - I'll just plug in the laptop and go to work. Of course I'll be walking back and forth alot as I must take mucho pictures for you!

It will certainly be more unobtrusive on the BB..guess you could call that rationalization :-D

I wish.. I am swamped this week with a huge deadline. So, no time off this week.. however the client will be out of town for the next two weeks, sounds like an opportune time!
