I say it helps quite a bit..I have the full MTM system..and a catalyst
rated at 100 cells as opposed to 400 cells (CPSI) makes a huge...read again huge difference in exhaust flow. This is MOLTO IMPORTANTE..to TURBO ENGINES. And the sound? My TT sounds like a small block V8!
Acceleration is INCREASED, TORQUE is smoothened through out power band and car breathes better.
I recommend upgrading the *ENTIRE* EXHAUST SYSTEM.
You won't be sorry. 98 degree temperatures do NOT impose a great loss of power any more. Not so much that you feel now. And MILLTEK is the way to do it. Call STRATMOSPHERE, the NUMBER ONE AUDI TT PERFORMANCE PARTS VENDOR...in my book.
