ALmost time for Redline Friday... im puttin in Redline oil, MT-90 and water wetter... didnt get any
final drive 75w90. will post results after service... MT-90 should make an improvement in this heat... hopin to see 12-15F less in temp on coolant as well. Switchin over to 10w30 Redline.. the 5w30 Royal Purple doesnt seem to be holding up well in the heat..Also got a couple of bottles of Redline super Fuel system cleaner... its all going in......

I was a long term Redline user and .....
ran it in all my previous VW's. The gear oil is top notch, but quite frankly, at $7-8 a quart for the oil - it proved no better than Mobil 1 which is half the price and easier to find(at least here where I live). In fact - I noted lower engine temps in my VR6 with 5-30 Mobil 1 than I did with Redline 10-40 and also used a bit less oil. Just my $0.2
