Coating isn't perfect, but I didn't expect it to be. Shop warned me that there might be places where the coating wouldn't stick-- white specks you see in pics. Bottom line, they did a fine job of achieving my goal-- make that shiny silver IC black, without impacting heat dissapation qualities. Cost: $135.
Thought about doing desert green, but it was enough hassle getting the damn thing done in black.

A blackened surface is an excellent emitter as well as an excellent absorber. If the same surface is silvered, it becomes a poor emitter and a poor absorber. "
