I got it , I got it.......
Well it is finaly here! I picked up my new 225Hp Raven black TT Coupe today........
I love everything about the car except one thing!!!!!
The stock radio and speakers leave much to be desired...
Does anyone out there among the experts on this car know the answers to the following :
If I buy an after market radio/cd player is there an adapter that will allow it to fit in the rather elongated slot?
Is the stock speakers an active type (are there amps attached to the speakers) or is there a seperate amp in the car somewhere. If so where would it be located?
What are the size of the speakers in the doors (ie 5x7 7x7)?
does the car have a sub somewhere?
Any help would be appreciated........

Congrats - Lots of things to do ...
I recently upgraded my system. Left the head unit in and added amps and speakers. My story is on these pages about 2 weeks ago. Also check out the audio forum.
IF you have the Bose upgrade...
Find someone with a VAG-COM and change the dynamic range of the system.
Here is a great link that explained alot and got me started. I ended up spending $3K. But I can now hear the full range while driving with my car's top down - it's natural configuration.
