Well, I have made the decision to part with my TT Roadster. I do not have to vent my reasons for this but suffice it to say that my happiness factor with it has more negatives than positives. Like several pointed out, life is too short to be unhappy.

Now, I have to consider a replacement vehicle. I want a dependable, fast, well-equipped, vehicle with some eye appeal (though nothing will meet the TTs in eye candy appeal). The car should be able to move out in traffic without everything else passing it (no, thanks, I'll pass on a VW bus). I don't want an SUV, a pick up truck. I can live with a sedan (did someone say S4?). I would prefer not to buy American built product (hey, I put up my flag on holidays and sometimes just for the heck of it!).
I would like to spend less than 50K and not have to mod it to hell to get it to run.
Another factor to consider: should I lease rather than buy a vehicle since it is easier (perhaps) in the long run to walk away from money already spent?
Lastly, what can one expect to get for an 01 model with just a little over 8K on the odometer?

Oh, once I do get this issue settled, I will still visit the forum. And I will have lots of TT related stuff to unload (car cover, compass, numerous TT brochures, models, press kits, etc.). I will post that once my replacement vehicle is a done deal.
Will be looking shortly. BTW, is it worth waiting for the 02 models to come out? I know of nothing substantial I should wait for...perhaps you do?

Between my 00 and my 01 models (been on this forum since 1999), I have learned a lot about cars and especially the TT (of course).

Will continue to contribute to the forum as long as the TT is in my "stable" (garage).
