Default Smiling so much it may be permanent now :)

You may remember I had posted awhile ago asking about aviator grey coupes. Well, I happened to stumble across one last weekend and now it is sitting in my garage. Like many of you I had been dreaming of the day since first sight sometime in 1998. It is everything I imagined it to be and I haven't even begun to indulge in all it can do. It drives so effortlessly... Cruising down I-5 this afternoon it almost seemed bored. The interior and ergonomics and fit and finish are all I imagined and then some. And the exterior... Well, the aviator grey exterior is just awesome!

Also, for any fence sitters out there that are worried about driving one because they haven't owned a manual tranny car. Don't be! This is my first and with very minimal instruction I was off. It is SO easy to drive!!

Oh, the run down on the specs:
2001 225hp Coupe
Premium, Bose
Avia--- err --- Air Superiority Grey exterior
Ebony cloth interior
I bought it used with around 8000 miles on it and the previous owner seems to have really loved the car, it is in great shape!

Also thanks to all the great folks on here for all of the great info posted. Before I even got in the car I felt I knew almost everything about it! Ok, must go wash it now... Picked up many bugs on the way back!

hahahaha Thanks and you know, I think I'm just gonna leave the primer I'm not sure I agree with the statement that aviator grey is the fastest cause it's the primer on all the rest. Surely even the slow cars have primer no? Nope, I just think there is something to that incredible color that Audi chose to adorn only the perfect TTs with

Default Congrats on the best color

I also have a aviator grey with ebony interior and I love it. It amazes me how the masses of TT owners have fallen for the silver or black cars. Don't get me wrong, those cars are also wonderfull looking cars, but aviator grey is a special color for a special car.
