Exhaust tip rim
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21844/davett_1.jpg"></center><p>Does anyone know where this person got (ie, where I too can get) these exhaust tip rims?? (I don't even know if that's the correct term for them, but they're clearly visible in this picture).

I'm not sure whether to take that as an insult or compliment. LOL!
This pic was taken in Jacksonville about 4 miles from my house. My sig pic was an homage to this pic, but (obviously) photoshopped! A local Audi clubber and sometime TT forumer by the handle of "astral69" owns this car.

Quicksilva's correct, it's part of Caractere's Rear Valance Kit...
Unfortunately, the tip surrounds aren't sold separately from the rear valance, so you have to like it and be willing to pay the ~$1,300.00 for the kit (incl. paint and installation). The tips are NOT aluminum; they're the same kind of plastic you have on your bumper. You can paint it an aluminum color as this person has done. I have this kit, too, but opted to leave the trim the same as the body color.
