N Valve installed today. Boost has returned!!!!!!!!!!
I guess I need to bite the bullet and order a forge valve.....
Boost is asked for by the ECU at a certain pressure. If the boost requested is not delivered within a set range (I'm unsure of the amount) of that requested, a fault code is written and, if enough accumulate, the ECU will light the Check Engine light...
The car was tested by the technician and that was his diagnosis as well so how do you explain that?????
You can drive around or idle with a stuck DV all day, until you hit the gas in a manner that would normally produce lots of boost and none is to be had...
If you were truly getting none, or if the turbo never provided the boost the ECU asked for, you would have had your "Check Engine" light turn on...
