A/C Compressor noise. I had it in for the second time and they said it was normal... right!...
So, I was hoping to get some info...
1. Is there a TSB? If so, can I get a copy?
2. Who has had them fixed, how, and who did it?
3. Isn't this the dealer's job... ?

Since I never use my A/C (very rarely anyway) I have never commented on this but....
What I have noticed is that when there is some sort of current draw when the car is running, like getting out of the car and the windows dip down, I notice a drop in rpms for a split second and I hear a faint *chattering noise* and then it stops when the current draw is finished.
The other day when I <b>DID</b> finally run the AC I noticed this same chattering sound, so there may bne more to this A/C noise than just the compressor, it could be alternator/belt related. I plan on having this checked out on my next visit (do you think they will notice my FMIC
)
Anyway, maybe some of you that are having these problems could operate the windows with the car running and see if you hear a similar noise
Maybe we can get to the bottom of this....
