The Germans pronounce it "owwdee" and so does everyone in the UK.

Default Ah'ou-tee?
The "Au" sounds like the "ou" in foul (or "fowl"), so add an "a" and drop the "l" and you get the first half. Close to two syllables, right? Then the "di" (or "dee") is almost a rounded "t", but closer to Ah'ou-tee. I place the stress on the second syllable, however.

Way too much thought this early in the morning!
