Burning oil smell...??

Burning oil smell...??
When I got out of my car this morning, I noticed
the distinct smell of burning oil. Any suggestions what I should look for?
Last oil change was over 1800 miles ago, so its not
residue from spillage or anything burning off.

Well - if you said like 65,000 I'd tell you a leaky gasket and your engine is using to much oil but
I have no real technical car knowledge so I can't really help. For what it's worth, I sometimes smell burning oil or un burned fuel when I first start the car up but then it quickly goes away. I'm betting this is normal
