Well, TT's been in the shop for a week and a half, and I thought I'd get it back today. But...

They're checking on the status of that part now, but bottom line is that I'll be driving the Le Sabre for a while longer :-(
Also, be careful about those high rpm launches, as they may contribute to clutch failure which can be very expensive if the car's out of warranty. Were that the case, I'd be looking at a repair bill of around $3,000 (parts & labor).
My memory of driving the parental units' wheezemobile last fall are (thankfully) fading, but it did get us from point A to point B. Beyond that, it made driving a lot like watching Sunday morning TV: a good opportunity for a nap.
