Default Build-up on battery terminal

Anyone else have this, I think Larry did. Any reason why. It looks like a calcification of on one of the terminals.

The engine has been cranking a little more on start up, and I think this is the reason.

Any recos on how to remove, the cause?

Thanks

Default Use a wire brush to remove the deposits. I think you can even get

battery terminal brushes. Im not sure why it happens, maybe moisture, its common on older batteries.

Default I have no pictures of it at work but why not wipe it out with each wash?

It's like taking a shower and not washing your *******. Yeah most people won't take a look in there but you want it clean, right?

Default Here is my serious recommendation on how to remove this build up >>>>

Seriously, take a can of Coca Cola, Pepsi what-eva and pour it onto the the terminals. You will see it fizz up and then use an old toothbrush or equivalent to get the *really* crusty stuff off, then rinse with a hose.

The soda counteracts the acid on the terminals and breaks it down

HTH
