Why? Let the General die its long-overdue painful death.
It took a near-death experience for Chrysler to get its act together, so why not GM?
Granted, that Daimler-Chrysler bushwacking wasn't pretty, but there aren't too many GM products worth saving: the truck division, the 'Vette shop, the Camaro/Firebird, some Caddys... any others?
