Because I do have about 50 years left of golf in me, if I quit now I can save the $583,750
and buy some sweet cars! Won't happen - golf is to relaxing for me now that I don't compete

Speaking of the PGA Tour ...
I went to the driving range at El Dorado GC here in Long Beach this past Sunday. It's a muni course. Anyways, the men's club was having their monthly tournament. While I was hitting *****, I hear the starter call out the next group on the tee and hear the name "Goydos." FYI ... a guy by the name of Paul Goydos attended Long Beach State and played golf for State and is now on the PGA Tour - #110 on the money list for '01.
So, I thought, oh it must be his dad that's playing. I look down the range and see Paul Goydos hitting *****, and eventually loading his cart to play with his four-some.
I thought it was pretty cool that he came back to his old stomping ground to play golf, considering he could play at any of the private clubs in the area. From what I understand, he's a very easing going guy, and annually supports the athletic dept. at Long Beach State. I believe he's won twice on the tour.
