I'm so embarrssed. About 9pm last night while driving with my wife on Melrose I glance in the mirror
and say to my wife "how could this be, it looks like a white TT coming up behind us?". So I slow and the car goes by us - it's one of those BUTT ugly Lexas 430's! My wife chastizes me - "how could you possibly think that ugly car was a TT?".
It my defense I explained how Lexas did try to copy the TT - they just did a poor job of it. Phew!
I felt better when at the next light a tow truck driver next to us comments to my wife that he has always admired the TT since it first came out and was totally blown away with his first view of the instrument panel lit up at night. He had a good view in the window and just had to comment on how stunning the white and red lights looked.
Pride restored.

I don't know.....I think it's growing on me
My friend just got an SC430 and I got a good chance to check it out. It is one *incredibly* luxurious car. I love the motorized panels in the dash and the convertible hard top is very nice. One the road, that big V8 is pretty fun too.
I like the TT better and if I were going to spend that kind of money it would be on a new M3 with SMG but I gotta give Lexus credit for building a terrific luxo-cruiser.
