The one in my sig is only paint, Heres how >>>>>>>>>>
Need:
-Screwdriver or putty knife
-1000 grit sandpaper
-Primer
-Semi Gloss Bll SPary Paint
-Take a thin screwdriver or knife and gently pry the ring off the grill from one side.
-Take 1000 grit sandpaper and sand it <b>real</b> good all over the surface (even in the cracks and crevices)
-Spray with Primer
-Let dry
-Spray with Blk semi gloss
-Let dry
DONT use clear coat, it will look to shiny
Enjoy

The front is clipped on as well, someone that *actually* took one off should chime in but....
for the rear badge,
I have found that dental floss worked back and forth behind the badge will make it come off easy.
Then use a prewax cleaner or Goof Off to remove residue
