Interesting, to say the least, review about the TT on epinions.com "Total Tease" (bad review)
Just for fun, I checked out epinions.com for any reviews on the TT. I found this bad review.

Interior lock swirch will not unlock doors
My interior door lock switch intermittently will not unlock doors. Car must be turned off, manual door handle must be used, or car must be unlocked using remote. Dealer has tried 3 times to correct, replacing switch twice, to no avail. Searched forum and found no answer to this specific problem.

You have the "lock/light bug". Their is a very simple fix for this . . .
Have your dealer contact the Audi Tech line. if they can't find the answer have them contact either Wallingford Porsche+Audi in Wallingford, CT and talk to Paul the Service Manager or contact the Audi dealer in Jacksonville and talk to their Service Manager. Both of those places have been walking dealers through the fix for well over a year now.
It is about a 15 minute fix.

Prestige Imports in Denver also knows about the fix (thanks largely to LarryTT... ;-))
I made them fix mine before I took delivery, and handed them LarryTT's original post from way back when as a guideline...
(They did find it on the Tech Line, though, along with the CD beep fix for the 2001 TT Coupe...)
