Does anyone else have bad thoughts of strange things happening to their car when...

they drop it off for service??? Just dropped off the RockTT for 5,000 service and even though the assisstant service manager auto-Xs with us, I still always think I'm going to pick it up and find some huge scratch of dent!!! I gave the keys to a salesrep inside and he asks me who my sales guy was. I replied nobody but John was taking care of the service for me. He then replies oh, you didn't buy the car here??? I said no and if I wasn't leaving it I would have told him to kiss my ***. Since when is buying the car from the dealer a requirement for having service done there??? Jerk! Also had some girl from the showroom come out and check out the car while I was inside. I didn't notice but my wife said she was scoping it out. Maybe I'll find a new ECU with a letter sealed inside it tomorrow!!! LOL

I have gotten my car back with dents in it!!! That was the last time I take my car to THAT dealer....
I have been worryin about my car since I dropped it off LAST tuesday....it's coming home tomorrow finally!!!

Same type thing happened to me yesterday...

Got a call from Audi Marketing? asking about my service experiences.(Not the usuall follow up call after service-this wasn't my dealership calling) I agree to take part in their survey so I can rant about the crappy service a get EVERYTIME i take it in. 1st question she asks is if I bought my TT from the dealership. I say No-bought used through third party. She says "Oh...I guess you don't qualify for our survey"-CLICK!!---WTF- who cares where i bought it-your service sucks-now I'm even more pissed thinking about it.

Doug, if you have a good relationship w/the guy you should feel pretty good. My car has been in to the shop 4times (2 for service, 2 for f/u from service) and the biggest problem is that they washed it once when I told them not to. I am convinced, if you are nice to them and let them know you a concerned owner, they take good care of your car.

I am not worried about the car getting scratched anymore. That time came and went the first month of ownership after it was vandalized. I am more concerned that everything I asked to get repaired was repaired.

I would talk to the asst srvc mgr tomorrow when you pick the car up and let him know how you were treated when you dropped the car off. let him handle it.

Is he the one that drives that Legends Car? No to worry about beating it . . . slow as mollases! lol
