Good, bad, average?
The forum's moderator is Car Man. He is an amazing source of leasing data. Ask him for the money factor and residual percentage for a x-year and y-mile/year TT 225 coupe lease.
Even this late in the model year, the TT has amazing residual. On the other hand, Audi FS doesn't offer lease support for the TT, so their rates are not exceptional (but not bad).
Audi FS reviews its money factor and residuals every month. Last month's number were valid until Aug 7 (when I got my TT). Their money factor for TT leases up to 48 months was .00305. I have a hard time believing that Audi FS would have increased their rate. I think your dealership is marking up the rate. But I could be wrong.
Is the $575 pre-tax?
What's the $1,700 for? First payment + acquisition fee + security deposit (?) + sales tax (?) + doc fee + license ?
FYI, Audi FS allows for multiple security deposits to buy down the rate. For a lease, this is a far better solution than down payment (which should be avoided IMO).
The price isnt bad. I paid about that for mine. Going 36 should only add 3-5 a month.
