Error in the Table of Codes?
I didn't see this mentioned before, so pardon me if it's old news, but ...
In the tables of control module codes listed in the John Stahmann articles (dated "2000") in the Audiworld Tech section, it seems to me that 2 of the entries are wrong in the big table of variations, in both the coupe and roadster documents. I think the values in the 3rd and 4th entries are incorrect, if you apply the rules defined in the options table.
The values shown are:
Coupe: 15948, 15952
Roadster: 15964, 15968
But I believe the values should be:
Coupe: 15944, 15948
Roadster: 15960, 15964
It looks like he just forget to subtract the "4" that means "1 touch unlock of both doors" when calculating the value. If you calculate the value you want by doing the math yourself, you should come up the with correct answer, but if you tried to use the values shown in the table of coding variations, you might end up with unexpected results...

BTW, since these all look like bit mask values, does anyone know what all the other bit positions stand for? Anyone want to volunteer their TT for experimental purposes while we try turning all the bits on and off to see what happens?? :-) note: I don't recommend trying this! but it would be neat if someone found a document describing what the other settings do...
