First Illinois winter with 180 FWD

Can anyone comment on winter driving with a FWD TT? I was wondering about winter tires? Any recomendations?

If it gets too bad, I'll just drive my wifes 2000 VW V6 Passat 4Motion Wagon. It is GREAT in the winter (just like my old A4 Quattro wagon).

I have Dunlops for the winter, forgot the exact name. They works real well for me

I know a few people that also go with the same kind I do. Check out tirerack.com, but do it fast thye sell out quickly

Have driven my FWD through two winters...goes great in snow.

Went down to a 16" wheel for winter...more control and used Pirelli 210 Winter Asyms. Go to tirerack.com and read their section on winter tires...you need to match the tire to your winter driving conditions..some great in deep snow some better on frequent ice. TT is like a little snow plow.
