What I did on my summer vacation....
We had a super time...a power vacation. We spent a day in Sinsheim, just south of Heidelberg where they have an auto and technic museum. They have an incredible amount of cars as the pictures show as well as trains, planes and anything else with wheels. One of the highlights is a Russian Tupelov SST that is on the roof and you can go inside it.

After Sinsheim we spent two relaxing days near Starnberger See which is a half hour south of Munich...where the "poor" people live. What a beautiful area.

From there we spent four glorious days in Mittenwald...an absolutely picture postcard beautiful little town nestled in the mountains, not too far from Garmish-Partenkirschen. We did some hiking, both to Lautersee and up to the Mittenwalder Hutte.
Mittenwald is also known for violin making and has a wonderful museum.

On the way up north to our friends in Kassel, we stopped at the BMW museum where there are some nifty sights to see as well.

Our second week was spent up north in Kassel where we have very good friends, just hanging out relaxing and of course, shopping.
I picked up some neat trinkets while there. I have some Euro TT brochures...I had asked for 2002 but when I looked closely at them realized that they weren't the new ones because they didn't have the new colors. BUT...if anyone would like to add a Euro brochure to their collection, I'd be happy to send them to you for the cost of shipping. Just drop me an email. I also have a couple of Euro accessories catalogs as well.
And, I couldn't leave without getting an Elvis or two or four but they certainly have the fun factor (for half the price!). (I also have Audi's Elvis too)

It was a really fun vacation and I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the vacation ;-)

Wennch & Ronzo's Summer Vacation
