Default on the way to Santa Monica

Had to stop and take this, whatta car wash ! Really missed the TT on this trip, Mustang convertible barely adequate.

Took car in for windshield replacement - stone ding, two 1/4" cracks, maybe extreme solution, 500 bucks, but then this IS a TT . . . driving a nice Allroad loaner, OK, powerful and quattro'ed enough, the autotrans sucks.

The missus has decided on a car - we ordered a 330xi, after seeing what four wheels can do in the snow. Test drive was a ball, autotronic or whatever they call it is really slick. Arrives in about a month.

Autocrossing going poorly. Still overdriving, and learning to *modulate* my inputs. Getting some sense of the car, though. Also getting creamed by S2000's on Kumho's. S02's wearing down nicely. I figure they'll be perfect by the end of the season - 3 more events, last one in mid-Oct . . . then on go the Blizzaks.

Huntingdon Valley Audi doing pretty good. They're doing a warranty replacement of the aerial that I knocked off with the car wash brush - *oh, it was a sad moment* - and they've had good loaners. Also replacing cupholder which has warped out of shape for the tunnel. And they're 10 minutes from my company's new plant.

Still drive it most every day, amazing how many grins there are on a drive to the FedX office.
It looks so good. And it drives so even better. The A4 2.8Q, the Allroad . . . yeh, really nice, and then I get the TT back and I'm home . . . . !!

Default That place is just *too* cool.

I'd love to see the interior too. Formica and chrome?
