Forget Wheel Worx!!
I had a curb scrape on my rim (remember my question about a rim job?) and I was going to send it to wheel worx to have it repaired. They quoted me a price of $135 plus shipping. I thought that was reasonable until i took my car to a friend of mine who has an auto body repair shop..he goes "hmm, wait a second.."..then he got this stuff and put it on there, wiped it a few times, and it was gone...for free!! Is wheel worx a rip off?

Isn't that sort of dependant on the amount of damage? Sounds like you just had...
...a scuff vs. serious damage to the metal of the wheel. With serious damage, Wheel Worx does a heck of a lot more than rub some gunk on the wheel and rub it out.

I thought it was a pretty deep scrape..
Believe me, I scrubbed and rubbed and washed and tried to get that scrape out, but nothing worked. It appeared to be pretty deep in the metal..but, I will ask him what the "stuff" was and where it can be obtained..it worked awesome.

There's no way it amounted to much damage if someone was able to rub some "stuff" on it and...
...it was suddenly good as new. No offense intended, of course, and I'm glad your wheel is fixed without significant cost. Sounds like good "stuff" and I'd like to know what it was as well.

No offense, but speaking as someone who actually has experience with the company you are criticizing
without actually having any experience with them yourself, I can say they are far from a rip off and do high quality work at a very reasonable cost.
I have to question how well you described the damage to Wheel Worx. Sounds to me that you thought the problem was worse than it was and that came across to Wheel Worx.
