ABD Racing is proud to be the first to introduce a genuine bolt on performance part for the Golf / Jetta & Beetle 1.8T. Our Big Bore turbo intake tube increases the diameter to a great 57mm ! Made from billet aluminum, this part looks as great as it performs. Expect noticeable gains above 3,000 rpm with hp rating increased to 10 hp (ratings from a k-04 equipped vehicle). Bolts on in 30 minutes, this is the best bang for the buck in 1.8t performance.
Application: Beetle / Golf / Jetta 1.8t
Part #: 70.INT5
Price: $169.95

Default I know we had words about the Neuspeed version of this and

this time if you go on the Vortex, you will have NO problem finding people that will complain about fitment issues..

ABD refunded alot of money to customers because of fitment issues

You'll most likely have fitment issues.

Default Neuspeed has one that I can get for 189...I ordered it today.....

Designed especially for the transverse mounted 1.8T Audi and VW engines, our hi-flo intake pipe moves 70% more air than the factory air inlet pipe, and gains an extra 7hp. To do this we made a completely new casting that is larger than the factory piece and has smoother curves internally. The NEUSPEED 1.8T High-Flow Turbo Intake Pipe bolts directly to your turbocharger and uses factory mounting hardware for a perfect fit.

Fits all VW Golf IV, Jetta IV, and Beetle 1.8T cars, plus Audi TT models equipped with the 180hp engine.

Default I think it is very interesting . . .

that they are claiming 10hp for VeeDubs using a K04, not a K03! unless that is a typo on Otto's part.

Default Yeah thought all the VWs in 1.8T configs were K03s?? Still wouldnt it be simpler

to just take exhisting pipe and have it swirl polished inside? I mean I assum Hp increase is due to mainly less air turbulence no? Or even get it extrude honed with a ceramic coating either way at least the oem part lines up fitment wise
