All that have a Garret chip should read this, + more info on Garret's new IBEchipswitch feature.
Statements regarding the new chipswitch feature made on Garret's website about current owners;
"We intend to take good care of our many loyal customers by offering them full trade in value on the GIAC chip/socket they have been using."
Check out their website as they have a couple of small pictures that show the remote and how the wiring is done within the ECU to provide features of the remote.<ul><li><a href="http://www.giacusa.com/ibe.htm">Garret's Page</a></li></ul>

First thought is neat, second thought is that I'd rather change programs from a stalk in the car
that no one knows about than a remote that any valet could start punching or how can you tell what mode you are in? or just what I need, something else to carry on my keychain? or what if someone had a similar frequency - of course, they probably have a solution to those issues

I think I am up to about 5 emails, 15+ calls to various numbers and still have not heard anything.
Jenner and Larry has given me office numbers, cell numbers, direct email, yada yada yada....
