If you had $5000 to blow on engine mods, what'd you do & how many extra HP can you get?

Well I would.......
I would definitely go with the K04 turbo upgrade with Giac chip(235 horse/265lbs/ft of torque that's for the 180fwd or 225Q the 225 would be more)Exhaust and Eibach pro damper and pro spring kit system. With the money left over try and find some rims and put a deposit on them.

Estimate 280hp to 290hp by doing the following....
Intercooler - Stratmosphere
CDA - The Race Store
Hi Flow Cats - Stratmosphere
F/M Exhasut - Stratmosphere
Forge DV - Stratmosphere
Chip - APR
You're up to $4,400 plus at this point. Next it's open up the engine time! I'd send the head off to ExtrudeHone to have the flow path smoothed/enlarged.
Well, so much for 5 grand!
Of course you could wait for the APR Stage III+ (310hp) but including the "companion" items (Exhaust/CDA) you'll likely be over 5 grand but you will also be staring at more HP!
Ahhh, the joys of dreaming - much cheaper than reality...

Extrude Hone the head?????
Ahh are you sure about that. I believe the Extrude Hone process is for the intake manifold and not the head. Are you sure you are not talking about "Port and Polish".
Another option would be a 3 or a 5 angle valve job on the head.

Actually, you can do both...
...in fact if I were going to the trouble, I would do both. Only offered as an off the cuff suggestion based on my old drag racing days. I have no idea how much, if any, this would help the TT as I am not familiar with how good the flow is on the stock units. Just trying to find something to spend that remaining $500 to $600.
