I think the Big man's trying to pull my ticket!!!
After last months servo failure causing me to run a red light, you can imagine my joy when the car went sideways onto the wrong side of the road last night!
I was taking the kids for something to eat,when I heard a loud bang, turning at a junction. Further down the road, the car veered right onto the other the other lane. I pulled over thinking I had a blow out.
No such luck, just massive camber, caused by the lower control arm snapping!!
We had to jack the car up and straighten the wheel to get it on the flat bed, also the drive shaft had popped out, causing oil to run out of the diff casing.
We were lucky it never happened on the M/way or on the twisty country high jinks mode
I also found a X post by Larry about an S3 with the same sketch.
Anyone else had a dose of this tin foil engineering?

Nope---never hit anything--yet :)...............
Hopefully it's covered by 3 year warranty. They just dropped off a new A6 for me to use
