Default Metal brace in the way of your right leg?

Talked to Audi of Amer. last night about the location of the metal brace going from the dash to the console on the TT roadster. They seem interested in knowing if it bothers any one else's right leg when your foot is on the gas. If so, they'll look into it. They're at toll free 800-822-2834 option 3.

Bother me in the beginning, though the more you drive, the less you notice the brace! It might help to take the pad off?

I called Audi, they didn't know anything about this. They said that: "we will take the suggestion to re-design it into consideration"?

Default I too had some discomfort early on with this car. I don't even think of it now. Try moving the

seat so it hits your knee in a better area?

Default or, it might help if the "pad" was actually a pad, not hard plastic.

the brace serves two purposes: structural, and aesthetic.
unfortunately, it isn't all that ergonomic for some, but it doesn't bother me.
(guess it depends a bit on size & packaging of the driver... :-)

Default I like where the brace is . . .

I rest my leg against it to brace for left hand corners

Does not bother me in the least.

Same, plant my knee on it to help me from sliding across seat on sharp turns.
