Brake Fluids & Track Events
Those of you that got their car tech'ed over the weekend at Audi of Alexandria. Did you replace your brake fluid? What other maintenance did you have done in preparation for the driver's school?
I'm having my car tech'ed this afternoon in preparation for the upcoming driver's school at Summit Point.
They (the service guys doing the tech'ing) suggested that I flush out the brake fluid and refill with "high temperature" fluid suitable for track use.
I know that this will most likely be good for the braking system, but is it really needed? I'm enrolled in the beginner's class (Jefferson Ciruit only).
