Anyone have close-up pictures of the front end area of a TT? Headlights, hood to fender and
How many times does a business get a chance to correct their mistakes?I can't believe how hard it is for them to do the job properly. Any lawyers out there with suggestions as far as how many times I must bring it back if they don't/can't seem to get it right? They have a hard time understanding how the parts align.
The left headlight doesn't line up right, the hood sticks out noticeably at the sides meeting the front fenders. The gaps aren't even between the fenders and hood.
The front facia pieces that meet up to the front fenders have gaps and don't line up also. There are lumps across the area above the grill to hood area that look like "silver" cookie crumbs.
The Headlight on the left didn't work when I picked it up. They had broken the "socket" attachment so that it (the wiring) just falls off the back of the headlight housing. The right blinker doesn't work. The trim on the doors was put on backwards and the rightside fell off while driving.
The windshield was replaced, it broke?! while at the shop. The right mirror was broken, the rh door scratched, and my left front rim was scratched also. The shop just wants to "compensate me for the rim". It can't be repaired or else the other 3 rims will not match it.
The gaskets that are supposed to be attached to the doors and rear soft top base area are falling off. You can see where they tried to re-glue the parts without success.
Now that the glue has dried, the gaskets being re-glued to this would mean that they no longer will sit flush to the door.
The grill wasn't put on right, I had to push it in a little as it stuck out on one side and was pushed in on the other.
The quality of the paint job is a whole another PITA.
I wish that someone else here in anchorage, alaska would know of a competent shop to go, to return my car to it's former "glory".
