Got some emails regarding my rooftop antenna flag-- more pics...

Its a heavy laminate from Kinkos over a home-printed flag. I cut small slits to feed nylon zip ties through... zip tie goes around antenna. Whole assembly slides off the top with some effort if need be. I also used a dot of epoxy on the zip ties to make sure they would stay together and that the laminate wouldn't tear where I cut the slits. Not tested on the freeway yet... some suggested it will be noisy. I'll let you know!

maybe you want something to "cap" the top of the antenna, but without marring the finish...
so can't use jam screws, etc.
maybe a better idea: if you could find something with threads to match the antenna bolt holt, you could just unscrew the short antenna mast and replace it with your own "custom flagpole". It's probably some kind of metric thread. Anyone know?
